grotech is the trading name of Georgie Roberts, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Georgie is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: gro@grotech.dev.

When you book a call

The booking page asks for your name, your work email and, if you give it, your company, along with the time you pick. That is used to put the call in Gro's calendar, to send you the invite with the Meet link, and to keep a record of the call in grotech's own business contact list. The lawful basis is that you asked for the call (steps before a possible contract) and grotech's legitimate interest in keeping track of the people it talks to.

If you came from one of grotech's emails, the link carries a reference to that email so the call is matched to it. It holds no name or email address.

Where it is kept

The calendar event, the contact record and the site itself are held by service providers grotech uses for calendar, database and hosting. Before a booking goes through, a bot check confirms that a person, not a script, is booking; it sees your IP address and browser details for that check. The page's font is loaded from a font service, which sees your IP address. Each provider is a processor acting for grotech and uses the data only on grotech's instructions. You can ask for the list of providers by emailing gro@grotech.dev.

How long

The booking and the contact record are kept while grotech is in contact with you and your business, and removed when you ask.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what grotech holds about you, or object to its use, by emailing gro@grotech.dev. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
